Hampton Roads/Tidewater VA TRT

I think @KSman was just trying to be helpful to a forum noob. But I agree, my comment was completely relevant to THIS thread. Thanks @D_Fox.

@logonzojls: I never found a great doctor in Hampton Roads. I moved to San Diego about two years ago and found a primary care doctor (Dr. Mark Hubbard if anyone was wondering) willing to handle regulating my T levels, so I don’t have to see a specialist anymore (yay!).

The last doctor I saw in hampton roads was Dr. Abay Taddesse (Endocrinology). He was pretty naive/inexperienced and not very helpful. His office staff were some of the best I had ever seen in Hampton, though.

Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Best of luck.

No worries man, glad you are getting treated appropriately!

Still hopeful someone else can chime in with information to assist anyone searching for the topic in this thread.

Thanks again man.

I never found anyone in Hampton Roads either. I ended up using Dr. Rob Kominiarek in Ohio of Renue Health (formerly Alpha Male Institute). He’s been good. I drive there once a year to meet with him and do an annual physical.

if you can afford it, highly recommend Defy Medial.

Just went to their website, looks like a lot of clinics. Guessing you have had superior care through them though.

Would be nice not to have to use one but at this point I may have to.

I’ll keep looking for Dr’s in this area in the meantime and update here if I end up finding anything. Looks aminous at this juncture though.

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.

If you found a good Doctor to treat low testosterone please let me know. I’m in Newport News of Hampton Roads but I’ll go anywhere around here to get better treatment. I’m currently seeing 2 regular Doctors to get correct treatment but they both don’t listen to me or understand. I hope this message finds you soon. Thanks D.Quick

I have finally found a place in Hampton Roads to go for Low T. I go to Urology of VA, and see Matt, a NP. He’s awesome - I can get pellets, shots, or even oral testosterone, as well as Arimidex to control estrogen. https://www.urologyofva.net/
