Half-Ton Deadlift?

#1

Can a 500kg deadlift ever be achieved raw with advancing drug technology and training principles? Not talking about theoretical future super strength drugs but only ordinary AAS and the like.

#3

The real question is, can anyone deadlift 1000 pounds without food or water?

#4

No, it will be achieved by a genetically gifted yet completely dedicated person with a kickass, take no prisoners mentality who is not afraid to put in hard work and sacrifice. Someone who is not bound by supposed limits and group thinking.

It will definitely not be you.

#5

A half ton deadlift and squat have already been achieved.

#6

Andy Bolton and Benny Mag have already accomplished this. Andrey and Derek Kendell have already done the squat… Sp the answer to your question is obviously yea I think so.

#8

The OP’s using the metric system. 500kg=1100lbs

#9

Oh…well then… Some day.

#10

It just requires someone as strong as benny but short enough where 45lb plates are like the height of monster truck tires to a normal person.

#11

Savickas…

#12

Benni has done 1015 raw

I think the OP is talking about a half metric ton, not a half 'Murican ton. Which means it hasn’t been done yet. But to answer the ‘raw?’ question, the only one of the 4 lifts mentioned that wasn’t raw was Bolton’s.
