Here are 3 pieces of pseudoscience I’ve heard around the gym lately:
- High volume, low intensity training will help you get ripped and make your muscles feel extremely strong.
(As opposed to HIT ?)
- Aerobic training will help you get ripped.
(Because little metabolism stimulation is better than intensive metabolism stimulation?)
- Wrapping plastic foil around yourself when you train will help you lose weight because the fat cells will eliminate water.
(Because we don’t actually have sweat glands for that?)
