I?m doing GVT and suddenly remembered that I wasn?t being religious about doing exercises 3X2 (or 4X2). I?d guess I?m closer to 2X1. But on the threads on this site they really pushed the 3X2 as being absolutely critical. Why is that so important? If I do things 2X1, am I really going to experience less hypertrophy, etc.? I?m just curious what the reasoning is.
Try it and find out.
I got great progress using 4X2 though.
Sorry, this was a curiosity question. I was just wondering why it made a difference and what the underlying principle was. I'm one of those annoying people who wants to understand it, because I figure I can take the underlying principle and possibly apply it elsewhere...
