The idea that an average of 67,740 crimes are stopped because of a gun is good enough for me. That could equal 67,740 people who are alive rather than dead or not raped vs raped or uninjured vs seriously injured or any combination.
You don’t get it. The self-defense justification puts guns on the streets that are then used in the hundreds of thousands to a million plus of crimes. It is easily a net loss. Time disarm. Shut down the arms factories, and let the police protect us.
