Gun Love II

The fact I don’t have a crossbow yet does bother me, yes.

But they are just as expensive as a rifle in some cases, and I have a big enough rifle problem, lol.

Yeah, I’m into it for about $1500 with all of the bolts, scope, broad heads and accessories.

Every now and then it’s time to come off the gun range and go to work as a citizen:

Every situation is different and that one worked out really well. The firearms training community is doing a great job getting good material out there by whatever means, training, internet, facebook, etc. and people are picking it up and actually applying it. It really blows my mind.

Getting ready for a beautiful day at the range tomorrow.

Oh I took them all and then some haha. Loading all the ammo and gear is a workout in itself.

I have been extremely pleased with the Tavor. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Yeah that will be my next rifle, heard nothing about good stuff about it and love that it uses standard AR mags. One day…

Just some eye candy from awhile ago. They did not last long.

More gun porn. S&W 44 mag N-frame and 2k rounds of ammo that doesn’t make power factor.

Oh wow. I really, really like that gun. Whatever handgun I get next it will be a revolver. I only have one and it seems a crime because I love revolevers. I have really been wanting a 44 mag. This one looks absolutely perfect, exactly what I want. A proper .44 that I could actually carry if I wanted to. Wanna trade?

Holy Crap! I had to go upstairs and make sure I still had mine. This is exactly like mine. It’s a CMD isn’t it?
You’re going to fucking love this gun. If it’s sighted in well it’s a can’t miss gun. It will make you look like a better shot than you are.
I’m not making a slight on your shooting, just sharing my experience. I am a pretty average shot, but the SR1911 makes me look like a much better shot than I am.
To me this is the absolute best gun for the money, if you look at it from a dollar per pound perspective:
Excellent trigger, very accurate, durable, Novak sights, All stainless steal, not a single piece of plastic on it anywhere, Rosewood grips, etc.

Sadly, a friend was shooting mine and somehow sheered off the front sight. I sent it to Ruger and they put a new sight on it, but it’s not right. They claim it’s in spec, but I have to hold up and to the right a bit to hit my target. So I am going to send it to a proper gun smith, replace the front with a fiber optic and have them sight it in perfectly. Prior to this incident, it was a dead on shot. I can’t wait to get it fixed.
