Grow! Whey Recipes

does anybody mix their Grow! Whey with any flavors?

i bought the Grow! bc of the price and since it didnt have any flavoring, i thought i could mix it with just about anything. but drinking it straight mixed w/ water kinda tastes like the after taste of macaroni and cheese.

so im just looking for suggestions. i bought some cocoa powder, but im not sure how much of it to mix into the tub.

I plan on buying a tub of it. Then I plan on mixing it with some Propel or Crystal Light.

i mixed the Grow! Whey with Metabolic Drive and some oatmeal yesterday and blended it all together for a super shake for a snack throughout the day and it tasted surprisingly good. but straight, Grow! Whey is hard for me to take. this coming from a guy who can down a glass of water mixed with CEE and citrulline malate.

1 serving Biotest Superfood
Enough water to mix it into a thick paste

Just had it yesterday. Good stuff.

I also like mixing it with oats or melted peanut butter. And I like adding sugar free syrups to it as well and then freezing it if it’s with the PB. Simply microwave it to heat it up a wee bit, and walla…bodybuilding ice cream.

Mix it with Gatorade G2…it adds very little in way of calories, but a lot of flavor.

Grape or Orange…Orange tastes like a Dreamsicle…

I mix it with gatorade when I run out of Surge. I second the dreamsicle taste.

For normal shakes I’ll mix it with chocolate protein and a tablespoon of instant coffee. Sometimes ill add peanut butter or a banana to it.

Another shake I like, but don’t make as often, is mixing with a can of pumpkin and some orange juice.

I use about a tablespoon or two of honey. Does the trick nicely.

Regarding cocoa powder, I use about 3g per 30g serving and it’s great.

I usually drink it with just water but for a change of pace, those single powder packs of drink mixes work good, if your in a slump there is one called Power Edge available at WalMart that has some “boost” in it but no sugar.

1 extra big spoon nat. peanut butter
1 or 2 scoops Grow!
i banana
a drop of vanilla extract
and some cinnamon

blend it and drink
it’s soooo gooooooodddd lol

A trick that i use is to get a mason jar, because it fit’s the blender and all you do is blend and you can drink right out of it. It save’s alot of time and it’s less hassle to clean it up.

i got mine at a garage sale and just cleaned it out real well, but my brother said they have them at wal-mart. They’re cheap, and they have a bunch of sizes!

2 Scoops Grow! Whey
.25 c Walnutsk, Almonds, or pistachios (not in shell)
1 package sugar-free Jell-O gelatin
1 cup spinach
ice/water to consistency
Optional: Milk

Green, cold, and tasty

My morning shake is 2 scoops Grow! Whey, 16 ounces whole milk, 2 table spoons instant coffee and a banana blended…

find sugar free extracts and you can flavor them like anything you want on the cheap and healthy…

My morning shake:

2 scoops Grow! Whey
1 scoop Vanilla Metabolic Drive Complete
.5 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
.5 cup organic pumpkin
half serving Superfood
2 tbsp Flax seeds
1 scoop Benefiber
Cinnamon and Stevia for taste.

morning cake:

mix:
20 gms whey
5 gms Superfood
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cinnamin
mix dry ingredients together

add:
2 tbsp olive oil or lecithin
2 eggs

optional:
splenda to sweeten it

put in microwave for 2 mintues and eat while hot. It makes a decent cake low carb cake, but if you wait to long it gets pretty dry.

2 scoops Grow! Whey
1 banana
Natural PB (I use 2 Tbsp)
Instant coffee
cocoa powder if desired.

That’s my shit-I-woke-up-too-late-to-cook breakfast.

hehe…if I could freeze dry it, I would. :slight_smile:

On the weekends, I like to throw some extra ice in it since I have more time to drink it slow and enjoy it. I’ll throw some extra cinnamon on top.

Also, when I’m not cutting, I’ll bump it up to a full cup of yogurt (or kefir depending on availability), 2 scoops of Metabolic Drive and also throw in a half or full cup of frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) in it.

My daughter just made me a strawberry smoothie with Grow! Whey; it was delicious.

I also like adding natural peanut butter to the shake.

I also like it on its own.
