Greg Valentino Wisdom (No Joke)

Some good shit here

Ever since I watched the movie, Bigger Stronger Faster I have liked this guy. Seems to tell it like it is which is refreshing.

I LOL’d hard at the powerlifting comment.

Watch it on youtube for me it does not play full here…some good shit at the end, well worth it .

i liked the video. i especialy liked when he said to drop exercises that you dont feel

Thank’s for posting that. I really like Greg and what he say’s comes from the heart. That was one of the best short talk’s that really tells it like it is.thanks john

Yeah he’s cool got his book because of this video costs like 10 bucks it’s honest and simple

An interesting concept he says to always do the workouts in reverse:like chest:start with cable crossovers, then chest fly’s and at the end barbell bench press…shoulders:start with rear delt flys, the front and side raises and at the end shld press…

It’s basically a pure bodybuilding book strength does not matter it’s all about feeling the muscle the weird thing is the bro science and the biggest guys in the gym always have said this yet we listen to all this internet dbag trainers that claim the complete opposite it sure is refreshing to get back to pure bb…

And I do think that BB is an art and not science the more time I spend in this the more I believe that…and it’s just like Gregg says it’s all about finding what works for you have to train, feel, think listen to what your body,is telling you…fuck what everyone else is doing what a book or a dbag trainer says or writes it just you and your own body that’s all you need

I hope there is a underlying message that there has to be a starting point for some that uses the guidance of the “dbag” trainer and what a book says that often has scientific background to methods regardless if its bodybuilding specific or athletic training. It is a art form but there is science behind it. This is what every bodybuilder is missing. They know that protein is good to building muscle but how it builds muscle (science) is what they are lacking.

I have some background in exercise physiology and often find myself what happens inside the body when my friends ask at a cellular level. Tho, not many would care to know in that detail. I will not get into any specifics about what a trainer can offer if they have the correct schooling etc than others with a one day certification. Save that for another thread. People who find a passion about some things will read everything related to it to get most bang for their buck. You will not find a REAL car enthusiast (build a care ground up or what have you) that has a car that has 400 horse power and not know why. Just my opinion on the matter if it at all counts.

I do like Greg’s no sugar coating it tho. Tonight I hit rear delts just as hard as I would biceps. It was awesome motivation.

time to listen to my muscles

what is that mr bicep, more steroids and synthol?

Greg is the man! :))

I’d prefer to get my training advice from a real bodybuilder like moustafa ismail than GV

GV is a an arms & shoulders specialist, but he is also around porn stars, stacks of cash, guns & mafia ;)))

While the man may have an interesting outlook on things (having essentially lost everything that was important to him at some point in his life), I don’t know if I would ever acknowledge the man as someone to listen to even if I do agree with some opinions.

I know he had a decent build long before he ever starting using PEDs (and Synthol obviously), but his later decisions just scream bonehead so loudly that I don’t think I can ever take anything he might say as serious.

For the record, I didn’t watch the video (at work, everything’s blocked), I just have a difficult time accepting Valentino as anything credible or positive to bodybuilding.

S

Makes some ok points but really needs to drop the douchey attitude

did he inject synthol into his legs too? I can see why he talks about doing 1 plate leg presses

Actually a pretty real no bullshit video. Says shit that needs to be said.

Greg used to eat the croatian baby food to get those huge arms! ;))
