Is fat-free, plain greek yogurt considered a low g.i. carb source or PN compliant? A couple web sites listed it as low on the glycemic scale, but I wanted to hear some other people’s thoughts on it
Berardi lists regular yogurt as one of the Superfoods, so I would think that Greek yogurt, being lower in sugar and higher in protein would be a fine choice.
It should be low on the glycemic index because the only carbs that are in it are the natural sugars that come from it being a dairy product. I eat it all the time. Its a great snack before bed.
