Got The Rings!!

Okay…Thank you to everyone who helped me out with the other thread about making the rings.
I have got the rings now (used real gymnastic rings…man, they’re heavier than I thought)!!
Now I just need some exercise suggestions so I can get to work!!!
Thanks,
Worker

I’d definitely say start with pushups and inverted rows.

Work on hopping up on to the rings and holding a support for time. When you can hold for 30 seconds, try doing dips (go all the way down, hands to armpits). These are hard on the rings. Then work on trying to turn your hands so that your palms run parallel to your body as you are pulling yourself into the dip and pressing out; finally, work on turning your palms away from you body. I only got as far as the palms parallel progression when I worked on rings.

Pull-ups, L-pull-ups and pull-ups to half-cross are also fun.
