Watts, not sure if I follow this, did I do something wrong?
Yeah. Do not take any ai
I will skip taking the AI. The Gonadorelin is fine to take as prescribed correct?
I dont know what it is so I will defer to more knowledgeable members.
What they are using in replacement of HCG.
It’s a peptide that is an agonist of the GnRH receptor. It causes the release of LH and FSH. I assume it’s a stand-in for HCG in this case.
And like clockwork as I click reply to Watts you chime in Thanks. Would this still be fine to take as prescribed? .5cc 2x a week.
What’s the benefit?
That’s even worse, the cypionate infused with anastrozole is a significantly weaker dose than half a pill form of anastrozole.
I couldn’t even handle a 0.050 dose (AI over-responder) without severe consequences, there’s nothing like having your knees almost dislocate as you walk and all your bones/hips hurting.
I was under the understanding to help maintain fertility, libido, and test is size…
Sorry @NH_Watts . From what I read it’s not more beneficial it’s just that some clinics can no longer legally prescribe HCG. Watts, I know you and everyone else said to ditch the Anastrazole altogether but would you ever ditch the HCG/Gonadorian Acetate part of the TRT protocol?
Also it’s been ages since I’ve pinned, my glute is not bruised at all but extremely sore. 25g x 1" infusing 1cc, common for first time in a while?
Honestly don’t know. HCG works great so hard to understand why they’re using it, other than my cynical answer about clinics and the power of greed.
You dont have to drop that if you dont want to.
Did some reading and it apparently has to do with the manufacturing process and what licenses some clinics have.
From what I’m reading it is not in fact a better option than HCG. I wonder at this point if I eat the $600 cancellation fee at my clinic and walk away and find a new Dr. One that will run labs w/ E2 and FT levels as well as be able to prescribe the HCG > the Gonadorelin Acetate…
Here’s the real version:
FDA said that compound pharmacies could no longer make HCG for our intended purposes. Doctors can still prescribe it, no problem. But it has to be purchased from a manufacturer just like every other drug you buy from CVS or Walgreens. Now this isn’t an issue for non-clinics (like a pcp, a urologist, et al) because they just write the script and you go fill it. Easy, right? Well clinics have a different model…
See, they don’t take insurance. So you don’t get a full breakdown of the actual cost of what you’re buying. They pay the compound pharmacy $x for the product and then they mark it way up and pass it on to you. (In my clinic’s case they have been sending me regular testosterone from a big pharma company at about 7x the price I’d pay for it from CVS) So if you fill it directly at the pharmacy there’s no markup. In order to keep this gravy train rolling down the tracks they needed a new drug that they could prescribe only through their network of compounders. Enter the SERMs and gonadarelin that we’re now seeing being handed out. Inferior options at significant markups. I explicitly left my clinic because of this issue. To date I have read not one single thing that connects these dots. Now I’m an idiot from middle America, so how is it that I caught on to this scam and everyone else has just been following? The answer is, sadly, that the clinics are trying very hard to convince patients that these non-HCG alternatives are just as good and most people for some reason trust their doctors. You shouldn’t. Trust but verify, friends.
You aren’t the only one… people just don’t know the real story. I’ve seen a ton of people thinking HCG had been banned and all kinds of stupid stuff like that.
What doesn’t make sense to me is Empower is one of the larger pharmacies that these clinics use (and I’m sure they follow the same business model you outlined) and they have HCG available still. So why don’t these clinics just use them? I get it fir $45 for 6000 IU’s from the same company that charges almost $200 on brand name T that’s $45 at CVS, so I’m sure they’re making something on it
I dunno, I just don’t understand why clinics are pushing it isn’t available so hard when it absolutely is. And not just through a regular pharmacy either.
