Got Bloodwork, Estro Level Too High?

I recently went for blood work regarding my estro and Test levels (due to libido problems) my resluts were: Test- 31.02nmol/L Estro- 116.22pmol/L

Is my estro too high? What would be the right estro level?

You are assuming that we memorize lab ranges.

With higher T levels, E2=22pg/ml 80 pmol/Lis a good target. If using anastrozole, increase dose by a factor of 116/80.

You have not tested free T, FT so we do not have any idea about how much T ios bound up in SHBG+T.

Thyroid function can also affect libido.

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.
