Good Single Leg Substitutes?

Hey, I’m looking to even out my legs as when I go heavy on squats and get tired my weight shifts slightly to my left and so my left quad is bigger than my right. I’m starting Chad Waterbury’s QD in a few days and was wondering if you all had any suggestions for single leg substitution exercises for squats? I was thinking maybe step-ups?

I have found bulgarian squats to be amazing. They take the back out of the movement, you do them unilaterally, and they hit the glutes VERY hard.

I’ll second that. I actually do them instead of squats every 2 or 3 weeks.

Hope this helps!
