Good Comedy Movies?

My top picks would be Airplane and Top Secret. Then Life of Brian, Holy Grail, Naked Gun (all three) and maybe Airplane II (80% of the jokes are same as in Airplane).

Used Cars

World police team America. The scene about dicks, pussies and assholes nearly killed me!

Are you serious?
That movie is not unintentionally funny.
It’s a spoof movie.

How has Super Troopers not been mentioned? Clerks and O Brother Where Art Thou are fucking awesome as well, but all in different ways.

Airplane

Roots

The Curious Case of Bejamin Button

Dodgeball

Wedding Crashers

Stripes

Fletch

the other guys
beerfest

Beerfest
Walk Hard
Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Blazing Saddles (too obvious?)
The Three Amigos
Back to School (Rodney Dangerfield)
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (the scene with the Tow Truck Driver)
The Burbs
Money Pit

(and 90% of the previously mentioned)

I can say in complete honesty that “Silence of the Lambs” is one of the finest comedy movies in existence.

A moth-hoarding, dick-tucking sketchbag feigns a wrist fracture to a.) lure fat chicks into his van b.) bludgeon them into unconsciousness after he deems their “plus-size” dress measurements acceptable, after which he imprisons them in a basement well and starves them until their skin is supple enough for inclusion into his “lady suit”.

If a police officer ever comes to my door looking for somebody, I’d be very tempted to ask “oh wait…was she a great big fat person??”

Most of these, and also Brain Donors. It was so goddamned funny…

I got nothing, but it’s a good one. Imagine the Marx Brothers diong todays type comedy.

Mr Destiny was one I’ve liked, watched and quoted since I was a kid.

2 pages in, Raging Bull, Silence of the Lambs, and Full Metal Jacket have been mentioned.

Spinal Tap, Raising Arizona, Withnail and I, and Knocked Up have not.

Lesson?

T-Nation knows dick about movies.
