225 to 235 with a little fade straight down the fairway, all…day…long. Left handed prick.

lol, I hit that with my 4 iron.
Bull shit, film yourself hitting it 225-235 with a 4I and upload it. No editing either, one video of you hitting and watching the ball land at the 235 mark.

If you meant 4-hybrid that I might believe but right now your saying you hit your 4-iron 50 yards farther then non-pro golfers would average?

Here is a cut and paste of average club distance and the webpage I got it from:

(the three numbers are low, medium and high average)
Club Men Women
Driver 200-230-260 150-175-200
3-wood 180-215-235 125-150-180
5-wood 170-195-210 105-135-170
2-iron 170-195-210 105-135-170
3-iron 160-180-200 100-125-160
4-iron 150-170-185 90-120-150
5-iron 140-160-170 80-110-140
6-iron 130-150-160 70-100-130
7-iron 120-140-150 65-90-120
8-iron 110-130-140 60-80-110
9-iron 95-115-130 55-70-95
PW 80-105-120 50-60-80
SW 60-80-100 40-50-60
I can’t tell you how pleased I am to see that list. Most folks exaggerate distance. I’m pretty sure I’ve hit my 2I 210 but not consistantly enough to depend on it.

I confess, if I designed a golf course there would be like one par three water hole or something on each nine, for betting purposes only lol.

All the rest would be fours and fives so you need to use a driver the whole round pretty much.

Is that so wrong?

I agree that people exaggerate everything online my large dick and supermodel girlfriend withstanding. I didn’t ask how far you hit your driver in the OP because people will just pick a number over 300 and throw it out.

As my grand-pappy always said, “nothing makes your golf score rise like witnesses.”

That list looks a little conservative. I am a 10-11. This is where my distances are approximately.

Driver - 250-275. With wind 300.
3 wood - 220-235
5 wood - 210-225
3 iron - ~220-230
4 iron - ~210-220
5 iron - ~200
6 iron - ~185
7 iron - ~160
8 iron - ~150
9 iron - ~140
PW - ~125
SW - ~100

That list can and should vary widely.

Golf tracks should have as much variety as possible. Par 3’s are essential, to test your shorter irons and approach shots.

Golf is a test of skill, not a video game.
The list is very hard to read so here it is simplified:

Club:Men Distance in yards "numbers represent low average and high shots)
Driver: 200-230-260
3-wood: 180-215-235
5-wood: 170-195-210
2-iron: 170-195-210
3-iron: 160-180-200
4-iron: 150-170-185
5-iron: 140-160-170
6-iron: 130-150-160
7-iron: 120-140-150
8-iron: 110-130-140
9-iron: 95-115-130
PW: 80-105-120
SW: 60-80-100

Are you saying the listed ranges above are not widely enough varied?
That’s exactly what I’m saying.

That list looks like something that was written up in the 80’s.

Granted I play with mostly sub 5 handicap golfers, but those numbers are very conservative.

I currently hit the Ping G10 7.5 degree extra stiff shaft

It is definitely my favorite driver I have played. I had always played Taylormade before that and was scared to switch, but it was a great choice.
