Laying around recovery from the flu and I started to reread Forever. Came to the part where it said DB Squats aka Goblet Squats are good for beginners. Why is that?

I’ve just convinced my wife to start resistance training. I told her to do goblet squats. Easy to teach. It’s such a natural movement.
In the same vein - if you need to teach the DL and the hip hinge is not pretty, you can have them do it holding a KB behind them with both hands. Pretty sure I saw it on this site and it worked really well with my GF. Almost impossible to screw up. Push your butt towards the weight as you descend.
