I've heard of people doing GHR's on a lat-pulldown machine and was wondering if anyone had a pic of this?? My gym doesn't have a GHR and was wanting to do these.
Just turn around and loop your heels under the pad, putting your knees on the seat. You can also do these on a seated calf raise.

Then, because you are slighly elevated, you can place a swiss ball beneath you to roll-away on, to assist you on the concentric.
Or, use the weight stack as a partial counterweight by replacing the pulldown bar with a rope and holding it as you descend.
