Can glutamine be absorbed even when you are not deficient? How does it help when trying to build mass and can your body use non essential amino acids even when you are not in a catabolic state. Please help me understand what benefit it has to bodybuilders in a mass phase.
I’d like to add another query to this. I was told that the absorbtion rate is seriously hampered when glutamine is taken with protein. Therefore the most effective dosing protocols would be on an empty stomach with water or carb drink. Is this correct? Furthermore, is glutamine peptide more anti-catabolic than free form glutamine? The help is appreciated.
