glutamine during/post workout

How much glutamine should I really use post-workout? I’ve read 3 grams here, 20 grams elsewhere…
If I’m cutting the carbs, should I use more glutamine and should I eliminate the carbs during the workout as well?

Depends on how much you can afford. Glutamine is rather expensive, but if you can afford it 10-20 grams would be optimal. If you are cutting carbs, yes I would increase glutamine (for muscle preservation as well as imune). Do not eliminate carbs during your workout. If anything eliminate carbs the rest of the day and consume them only during/after your workout. Check out some of Bernadi’s articles for some more info.
