Glucobay In the BB Community?

Anyone ever hear of this?

Here is its mechanism of action:

It works by inhibiting the action of a chemical in the intestines that is responsible for breaking down sugars into molecules small enough for absorption into the body. It therefore slows down the digestion and absorption of sugars and starches from the gut. This means that the normal rise in blood sugar following a meal is reduced, and the daily fluctuations in blood sugar are smoothed out.

It’s used in treating diabetics, but what use do you think it would be to the bodybuilding community? ?

Not sure about the use of it for bodybuilding as such but it certainly reduces the blood glucose/insulin spike cycle involved in eating carbs.

Metformin does similar in different ways but I really wouldn’t recommend it for a non diabetic.
