Ahhh yes… this is the male form of birth control.
She asked the lawyer that represented her Mom, maybe the lawyer is getting it on with the ex… or sees another opportunity to soak the poor SOB out of cash.
I would have cut the internet access out 1st and then the trip if things didn’t improve and inform the school instead of simply witholding the permission slip, I mean if the school backs up the parent then he would have someone else on his side when it came to this, maybe not just IMO.
I pity her future boyfriend/husband.
ida beat the fuck outta her if it was my kid. ok well not till she bled, but cmon, you dont let your kid get control. dam canucks dont watch enogh dr. phil, the best show to watch while riding my lil eliptical machine for 35 minutes than using the bosu ball with my 5 pound weights lmao, im kidding i swear
“”““The father caught her chatting on websites he had blocked, and alleged his daughter was posting “inappropriate pictures” of herself online.””“”
LMFAO must’ve been a miley cyrus die hard fan.
Pics, or it didn’t happen.
Fuck that. This is just as ridiculous to us non-Quebec Canadians as I’m sure it is to you Americans. Also, isn’t the USA the frivolous lawsuit capital of the world?
“a “very rare” set of circumstances” - what the heck is rare about a kid getting in trouble, then playing the parents off against one another?
who the heck paid the lawyer? they’re not cheap.
how did this even wind up in court?

But undoubtedly she will hold this grudge against her father and relay her feelings to all of the male species and just end up being a lesbian. At least then she can’t spawn.

Exactly what I was thinking.
How was the lawyer able to even develop a strong case to where they could actually win? ‘It was very important to her’. ahahaha. brilliant!

or she’ll try to fill the void of attention she’s no longer receiving from daddy with promiscuity

Well, it is in Quebec, where things are a little…different.
They have a system of Civil Law, which has some significant differences with the system of Common Law, which is practiced in the rest of the country.
I really really hope that it’s due to some quirk in their legal system.
If this spreads out here, I will lose it. [/quote]
It is generally my understanding that in most “developed” countries all children are actually wards of the State. This is the legal hook that lets the State immediately remove abused children from broken homes. Parents are in the role of care provider but this is all contingent upon State approval.
I guess what galls is the (usual) legal shenanigans of realizing that laws about an extreme situation are mis-written to apply to other situations and taking full advantage of the system. Now the precedence is set and any time a kid takes exception to parenting they will probably threaten them with this.
Ah… progress…

I’m not sure if the father should disown her or what…
Meanwhile, in the US…
Saw this on the news last night. Fucking ridiculous. Its not the kid I want to lynch, it
s the lawyers who fight to bring about such jack-ass decisions.

I am ashamed, really.
How can our society be so fucking stupid to bring some retarded shit like this to court?
I mean, you have the live in a damn shitty society when you have your judges crying over a 12 years old slut’s punishement. That makes no sense. How can people be such pussies, worrying more about making that little bitch happy than just being fair and using common sense.
This pisses me off, the more I live here, the more I want to get the fuck out.

Try to get the judges impeached, and the lawyers disbarred. It’s your country, take responsibility for it. Be a citizen, instead of a subject.
That’s really sad. You’ve got a father who obviously cares about his daughter enough to want to protect her from her own stupid pre teen choices, and the hordes of disgusting fucking perverts on the internet, and the courts actually step in to prevent him from doing that…
From the story, I blame the mother 110%. I don’t believe that a 12 year old girl decided to dial up her mom’s lawyer over this.
That’s just great, let’s destroy a good relationship between a father and daughter to make mommy feel better about herself and allow the kid to skank it up. Disgusting.
What a smart 12yr old using proxies to access “blocked” websites, and a slutty whore for posting “Inappropriate” pictures, c’mon 12 years old!!!

I’m assuming you’re being sarcastic. Don’t be surprised by this. I taught middle school and those kids knew how to beat the internet security ALMOST as well as the IT guys knew how to fix it. The kids were certainly better at it than I was, that’s for sure.
