Gi response on foods with 3g or less table sugar

In my current diet I have incorporated some beef jerky, I rate this stuff as a great protein food, however on the nutritional info it contains 3grams of carbs in the form of simple sugar for every 100grams of product now thats probably from the marinade, with such a high protein content, 50g per 100grams , would this give a high insulin response or is 3grams of sugar too low to have any real effect ?

Also I consume a caffeine supplement that has 3grams of simple sugar alone along with the caffeine and vitamins, will 3grams of simple sugar alone give much of an insulin reponse ?

I am currently high protein, low carb, low fat dieting.
