on the glycemic and insulin indexes, what ranges are considered low.. med.. and high?
low GI- 55 or less
med GI- 56 to 69
high GI- 70 and up
low GL-10 or less
med GL- 11 to 19
high GL- 20 and up
no problem. GI/GL listing are seriously helpful tools when your bulking, cutting or just want to live past 50...
pick up this book for some killer help.
Don't take these ratings too seriously. When carbs/protein/fat foods are combined, individual GIs become meaningless.
