Though it seems that most people do not recognize ghosts, spirits, the occult, or what have you, to be, as it were, ‘real’, every once in a while you come across someone with a ‘ghost story’.
Usually, these people seem to have been too traumatized by their experience to share.
In this thread, I invite everyone to share their trauma with those of us who have never had the good fortune to be plagued by hostile spirits. Tips on how one might have a similar experience are welcome.

I think this might be the reason for my lack of paranormal encounters. My complexion is best described as ‘day-old corpse under fluorescent lighting’. Perhaps I would be less intimidating to our corporeally-challenged friends with a bit of a tan.
Also, young girls would stop telling me I remind them of Twilight.
Sometimes after I finish beating off, while waiting for CCleaner to erase my shame, I wonder if there’s a ghost, guardian angel, or spirit that had chilled in the room and witnessed the whole thing. It’s at that point that I suddenly feel very embarrassed.
Honestly, if paranormal entities DO exist, I’m gonna have some serious explaining to do once I start communicating with them.
