Getting To Sleep Earlier!

I’m staying up too late & need to retire to la la land sooner! I can sleep late but don’t want to cause then the whole day is half over. Right now I’m not tired & I’m just messing around here on the net. Any ideas? Also sometime I take Melatonin & I can tell a difference as far sleeping more sound or deeper, but for as helping me get sleepy so I can get to bed, zilch! And I’m not drinking any caffine later than 3:30 or 4. So I need some suggestions, thanks.

If you’ve got the time go with an Epsom salt bath. After my two-a-days I follow this routine:

  • Start Filling-Up Tub w/ 2 cups Epsom Salt
  • ZMA and 1L Water
  • Prepare Night Meal (1 scoop Low Carb Grow!, 1/4 cup Micellar Casein, 1.5 tbsp Flax Oil, 10 walnut halves, 1/3 pack frozen spinach)
  • Soak full body submerge 15 minutes
  • Dry off while consuming night meal
  • Hit the sack

It works everytime… If done right your body is beyond relaxed and you’ll be hitting the pillow as your ZMA kicks in.

ZMA+Epsom Salt+Night Meal = Great Recovery

Let me know how this works out.

Get out of bed early so you’re a few hours short of sleep.

The evening you should get tired a bit earlier.

Or, just stay awake a whole night and go to bed normal time the next evening.
Very simple really

Quit messing around on the net, condition your body to go to bed earlier, and you’ll get used to it. It’ll take a little time, but your body will adjust to your new earlier bed time.

I get up for work at 5:40 AM. If you told me 5 years ago I’d be getting up at that time I would have said you were crazy. I used go to bed late and sleep late. Start getting up early on a regular basis and you’ll start going to bed earlier on a regular basis.

Some good suggestions. How long do you wait to eat after taking the ZMA?

Get a job working midnights… and dammit, when you get the chance to sleep, you’ll learn to take advantage of it.

It is usually right on 30-45 minutes

The basic tip: Just get to bed early and get to sleep…Your body will soon adjust to that schedule just as it adjusted to the one you’re in now.

One other tip that will help you fall asleep earlier is to condition yourself to think that your bed is just for sleep. What I mean by that is, don’t eat in bed, read in bed, or watch TV in bed…that way, when your body hits the sack, it will know that it means it’s time to sleep, (psych class taught me that one).

I remember that one from psych 101 haha

Sleep & Sex you mean!! Gotta have priorities.

Another cheap and effective supplement for you to try is GABA (Gamma Amino Buytric Acid). It is puported to increase growth hormones but I think it is a relaxant/sleep aid that enhances depth of sleep and dream activity. The extra growth hormone spurts are likely a side effect of the deeper sleep. GABA is a complex long-chain amino that is used by the brain. I like to call it my “Magic Dream Dust”. Give it a try.

Good Luck & Good Night!

oh yeah…sex has to be in there too for sure…So sleep and sex. That’s it. Priorities…

i think ur body is conditioned to have sex ANYWHERE. So just work on the sleep thing. Otherwise you might start getting boner’s from seeing mattresses and shit. That could lead to all sorts of other psychological issues.

Though going to a mattress store is cheaper than a strip club & porn…

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That’s probably why I couldn’t f’n sleep last night. Gotta read this book for history, and was reading it all day on my bed. Never doing that shit again.

Thanks, my dad has a ton of that stuff, he got on sale & we both didn’t even know what it’s value was & we hadn’t yet read up on it. Thanks!
