I think this one is very solid, simple…

OK now I’m confused, so do I register for the Male open or Female Open division?

This shit gets so complicated sometimes!

Ahh, it’s so clear now!

That would be an interesting thing to tell Mike Bridges or Wade Hooper.

…or inaba, lamar gant, ausby alexander, sergey mor, etc…

higher bodyfat helps a lot more if you’re a gear whore.

p.s. i think the article is solid otherwise.

Matt Rhodes is quite the funny guy, he has other articles which combine some good ideas with his sense of humor.

The problem is not in him, IMO, it’s in the guys who really get serious about things like "if you’re under 300 pounds you need to put some ".
765 pounds can look mediocre for a big guy’s squat, but it’s the WR in the 148 class. Not everything is in the absolute numbers, just like not everything is in the relative numbers.

I was more referring to the fact that despite their BW, Hoop and Bridges are huge. Last time I saw Wade he was damn near as wide as he is tall and bridges is a hell of a physical specimen.

Nobody would mistake either of them for women.

People take jokes too seriously.

Goddamn.

Ahh relax. I’m not jammed up at all and as a 220 I have taken my share of ball busting. Just giving a little back.

“If you fit one or more of the criteria, read on. If not, stop lying to yourself and read on.”

Made me chuckle.

based on previous reading , some wise words from Hanley , and this article , my DE Bench day is being re-programmed to similar to this . speed-bench is history ; 4 , and in time 5 lifts per session , 5x10 .

would this be considered RE ?

of course its kind of 2 rep days per week.

With good progression not only 5x10.
