Getting Lower Abs to Show

Hello all. I am new to posting here, but have been reading around. Over this winter i went from 235->162 where i am now. I have been working on my abs a lot, and can’t seem to get the lower ab to stick out like i can the other 4 parts.
Does anyone know any specific exercises i can try for this?

Its your diet, im sure that you have abs but there is fat above them so they wont show.

That’s a huge assumption. It isn’t like every human has six distinct separations of connective tissue running through their abdominal muscle. He could have only 4. He could have 8. He could have 5. That is something no one would know without looking at him and knowing just how much fat he is carrying.

try reverse crunches on a swiss ball I got these from Charles Poliquin. Use your arms to grab on to something for stability. This gives your a great stretch and full range of motion.

I did all sorts of intense ab work then I tried these for just three sets and my abs were soar for a entire week. Blew my mind. I love them now. I hope they help they’re worth a try.

considering the subject

I can’t recall where it was that I saw this, but it was a test for ext oblique strength. If I recall correctly, the progression is to be able to do a reverse crunch without the assistance of the hands above the head holding the pole. Tough to do with no swing, momentum umph. I should say rather, tough to do with a deliberate motion.
I failed.
