Getting Healthier, Bigger, and Stronger

#21

Down another 5 pounds! At 161. A parasite, now that I think of it, is the only explanation for this. At least the antibiotic is working.

#22

Dude I hope you’re not going to shit out a dead 5lb tapeworm or something

#23

Nah, he’s just shitting out billions of amoebae. And then his colon has to heal from the damage they did…

#24

That sounds about right, haha.

#25

Wouldn’t that be something? I’d be 5’9”, 155 lbs (my starting point 2 years ago).

#26

You’d still be a much stronger 155 though. If you do shit out a 5lb dead worm pics are needed lol.

#27

:slightly_smiling_face: I’ll be sure to keep that in mind Brett

#28

Almost passed out a whole bunch of times during today’s workout. Super nauseous and uncomfortable now, but my normal stomachache is surprisingly absent. Accessory work volume will have to be lowered.

Deadlift

135 x 2 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 1
245 x 3 x 5 (fast)

GM (not touching pins)

135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 1
235 x 3
245 x 3
255 x 3
265 x 2 x 3 (the shitty bar I had was rolling down my back, had more in the tank) — PR

Dimel DL — 3 x 10 x 225
Pull-ups (DOH) — 1 x 12, 1 x 10
Chin-ups — 2 x 10
Ab Wheel — 3 x 10

I just can’t seem to start my deadlifts with a straight back.

#29

That’s what I weighed at your age.

#30

Hope for the future?

#31

You’re off to a better start for sure.

155

That was me on my 17th birthday.

#32

I know, it just frustrates me that I could have been at a 450-475 pull by now had I not gotten sick.

#33

You got lots of time. When you get that pull, that number won’t mean anything anymore. You’re in a great spot.

#34

Thanks for the encouragement. It means a lot coming from someone as strong as you, haha.

#35

@T3hPwnisher meanwhile in AP English…

#36

If you want extra credit, tell your teacher that the photo is an example of solipsism, not nihilism, haha.

But good to see Nietzsche brought up in a positive light regarding nihilism.

#37

Pun Intended?

Jokes aside, late to the thread but watching with interest. Should be amazing how quickly your numbers shoot up.

#38

Thanks man…I’m hoping for it. I’ve been in a calorie deficit for a year, so we’ll see what happens. I might be hitting that 450 deadlift sooner than I thought. Eating 4000-4500 calories a day, so my weight should balloon up back to 180-185 as well. I am hoping my Bench shoots up…I lost about 30 pounds on that. I was at 215-220, but I’m now stuck at 185-190. Generally, upperbody lifts are supposed to correlate with body weight.

#39

Ill use that as my excuse for zero bench progress in the last 12 months

One hell of a rebound man. Jealous of your calorie intake. Im at 2300 daily for maintainance.

#40

Well, I’m much weaker than I’ve ever been. I’m going to be nice to myself and attribute this to the antibiotic. Had to squeeze a session in at the school’s pathetic excuse of a fitness center, gym by me is closed.
