Is the key to getting big only getting at least a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. And eating more quality calories than your caloric maintenance level. If so what are some good MRP bars and shakes to take. Also what can a college kid eat that is “quality”
You could eat “superfoods”. Nutrient/Calorie dense foods. A lot less $
If $$ is a concern, save your money for food. You know, good clean food. Buy in bulk when you can (oatmeal, chicken, tuna, eggs, etc).
I think you need to start reading some of the dieting articles in the T-mag archives. This will keep you busy for a while.
Patricia nailed it on the head. Buy quality foods in bulk if possible (to save money) and cook in mass quantites. Store food in tupperware in fridge and re-heat when necessary. There are plenty of on healthy on the go type meals you can eat, and that is where a good protein supplement comes in. Good luck!
