German Volume Training Shoulder Alternative

About the Medium Grip Presses (Behind neck) I’ve got shoulders issues. I don’t trust behind neck movements. What would be a good change?

I was thinking maybe dropping it and doing a full 3 Lateral Raises instead. Then a 1 set finisher of Cuban Presses.

Is this counterproductive to the GVT concept?

Medium Grip Presses (front) - 3 X 10
Medium Grip Presses (behind) - 3 X 10
Very Wide Grip Presses (front) - 3 X 10
Lateral Raises (dumbbells) - 1 X 10
