For the past two weeks I have been doing Poliquin’s German Body Comp program. During this time I have also been reading through the previous issues section about meltdown training, which is an updated version of german body comp. Due to a crowded gym, however, I don’t think I would be able to follow through with meltdown. So I was wondering if it would be beneficial to take the tempos in meltdown (1030) and apply it to german body comp to make it a more effective program. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks
Reversing the tempos adds up to the same amount of time. Maybe you mean gbc only has 2 excersizes in a row instead of 4. As you progress in weeks of gbc it throws 4 in a row also. I’ve personally done better with gbc. However, you might have a good idea. You’re gonna have to try it and let us know. You don’t have to use either programs exact excersizes . You can use your own as long as thy are large and go back and forth from upper body to lower body. Good luck.
