not sure about the east coast rezes, but here where there are actual reservations, they are lonley, dark, dirty, crops will not grow and have not grown since they were made.
80% of the people are working construction jobs in cities hundreds of miles away.
water needs to be hauled in because the rock is too thick and the water table too low.

temps in the 100s in summer and winter is in the -10s,just yesterday infact the temp was high of 24 I think and it was snowing.
electric is reserved for the governmet subsidised houses so most people do not have power.

the reason why the indians were pushed to the reservations were cause it was the most worthless godforsaken peice of land in the country.

the casinos are on the very edge of the rez where white people wont venture to far into, and it is usually abnormaly nice.
the casinos are pretty nice and I promise you will enjoy them.
your watress just may be living in a shack with 20 family members
and each one living off the state min wage so tip well.and have fun cause they are really fun.
I grew up on an indian reservation BTW.

I’ve only been to reservation casinos on the west coast. I’d say they’re nice. The casino is out to make money off you, so they make it a good experience. Free drinks, no windows, decent food, etc.
