Dr. Darden, I’ve listed what I believe in as my fundamental high intensity strength training and sports nutrition principles. Thoughts, comments, observations?
-
Train hard in order to move from a position of statis or status quo
-
Hard training requires brevity and recovery
-
Recovery requires water, carbohydrates and sleep
-
Any movement in the gym must be safe (which means non ballistic) and replicate the function of a muscle as much as possible
-
More muscle means more physicality as one ages
-
More muscle requires more fuel (food) to retain it on the body
