Functional Medicine

#1

A docuseries you can watch for free starting this Wednesday. And for the turd lickers on this forum, no I do not make any money from this. Just trying to spread the information.

Total garbage bullshit. Don’t spread this because it’s not information.

#3

Wow that skeptic article really broke Hyman.

#4

Seeing as how I was the first person to point out your posting of affiliate links, you need to slow your roll.

Pretty sure you’re just trying to spread pseudoscience with a heavy layer of cognitive dissonance while you sidestep and dodge anytime more qualified members call you out on nonsense.

#5

Of which you had absolutely zero proof. Just accusations.

Pretty sure you’re just trying to spread pseudoscience with a heavy layer of cognitive dissonance while you sidestep and dodge anytime more qualified members call you out on nonsense.

Pretty sure this fits better with the synthetic drug paradigm. Hey! Make another buck, all the while do your best to limit the choice the public has because it may hurt your profits and that is what’s most important.

#6

Total garbage bullshit.

Sounds like the synthetic drug industry. Stick with it so you can become an average statistic.

I think I see the game Zep’s playing. Hear me out guys.

HE’S A DOUBLE-AGENT!

Just think how many people he’s deterred from spending money on alternative medicine via his forum presence. What better way to do that than posing as an improvident lackwit who blunders his way through discussions with subject matter experts and ultimately resorts to crude insults you might hear in a 7th grade locker room?

What better way to discredit alternative medicine than to associate his toxic forum presence directly to it?

#8

I literally… literally… posted evidence supporting why I made those claims in that thread.

This is the kind of picking and choosing that makes your devotion to pseudoscience laughable. You willfully ignore that the people you promote/advertise/link to/whatever are absolutely trying to make a buck with poorly formulated concoctions like this huckster’s overpriced, kitchen sink-style formulas that contains a bunch of ingredients at lower-than-effective doses.

#9

@Chris_Colucci

If you would just use the Ultra Mind ™ formula and buy the Ultra Mind ™ book then you would be on board too.

#10

confused

#11

I prefer my medicine to be non-functional. You may laugh at first but the placebo effect is very real!

#12

Stick to your pharmaceutical regimen. I’m sure you will go far.

#13

It’s a pretty safe bet. Human life expectancy has doubled pretty inline with advances in medicine.

#14

But since I’m not trying to make any money from it goes to sow you have no fucking idea of what you are talking about.

And what expertise gives you this opinion? kitchen sink-style formulas that contains a bunch of ingredients at lower-than-effective doses.

#15

I have almost 20 years working in the supplement industry, so I can spot the difference between a crap product and something useful. Seeing how you’ve previously dismissed the credentials of Aragorn, ActivitiesGuy, and others when they talk about their fields of expertise, I’m pretty sure you’ll find a reason why my experience doesn’t matter.

And you still didn’t address how you rationalize giving Hyman a free pass when he’s trying to profit from his information while believing “Big Pharma”, “Big Chemo”, or whoever else you disagree with put earning money ahead of helping people.

Was that supposed to be aimed at me too? Your really are terrible at this copy/paste thing. Literally no one else on the site has that issue.

The fact remains, you posted an affiliate link. If it wasn’t your affiliate link, okee doke. That means it was an affiliate link you fell for and were spreading. Still not a good look and, at the end of the day, someone is profiting from the info you’re pushing. Since you seem to feel profit is incompatible with good intentions when it comes to mainstream healthcare, it’s odd and disingenuous that you’re cool with it for alternative treatments.

You might as well ask him to divide by 0.

#18

I don’t like this presumption that my brain is broken and that I need him to fix it.

If it was I’d do the same thing I do with the wifeys car- Tear it to pieces and leave it laying around the garage until I youtube enough vids to figure out how to put it back together.
:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Something you people can never discern the difference. You think ALL profit is good. Profit over people(our current healthcare system)bad. Profit that doesn’t try and limit choice is not bad.

I mostly dismissed the credentials of others because they have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to modern business practices and corporate charters not their fields of study. Big difference.

As far as affiliate links are concerned. Are you forced to buy anything? No. So if you don’t like it pass on by.

How on earth is your choice limited? Natural medicine has faaaaaar less regulation around it, you potato.

I can only buy medicines from certain businesses, I need authority from someone else (an independent person mind you) to buy it and it isn’t available to me until it has gone through a lengthy process first.

Conversely, you can buy natural “medicine” from a clown at a circus, no problems.

This is like believing your choice is limited because a military manufacturer won’t sell you a Ford.
