Guys, I’ve decided to give up training the powerlifts and focus on real strength.

You’re using your momentum and hip power to “throw” the weight up.
Why not lower the weight and do it properly?

i think you need to use your back more…

Because the more muscles involved the more natural anabolic power you unleash. Don’t you know anything about compound movements?

Exactly! We all know that compound lifts are the best…which is why EVERY movement should be made into a compound lift!

Doh! I’m so dumb. :(((

Ricky Bruch is way ahead of you on that idea.

What he’s doing is kind of like a Muscle Clean. He’s getting the triple extension, but he’s not diving under the bar to receive it. And with the curl grip it’s more sport specific to the arm/shoulder position used in the discus. So Cheat, and Cheat like Hell!

Once I can Clean 315 I’m gonna start doing these. Until I’m strong and fast enough to Clean 315, I won’t be able to back up doing Ultra-Cheat Curls as a Legit Exercise.

Hahahahahahaha

Strong guy, but I laughed hysterically when he threw the weight back onto the uprights and they tipped over. What did he think was gonna happen?
I was also very curious why he was twisting with a bar on his back until I saw he threw discus.

I don’t think he cared about the uprights.

He’s a Madman in the best possible way. When you mix perfect supplementation, good use of steroids, blood doping, and an undying commitment to training, then you’ve got Ricky. He bragged about never getting caught for steroids, appeared in a few porns (of course they were straight, and probably with his fellow Sweeds), and did everything he could to be the best. We could all afford to be a little more like him.
