A-A-B every week

all exercises use 3x6-9.

Absolutely terrible in a bunch of ways. Practically zero lower body work, poor exercise layout (chest, then back, then shoulders, then back, then tris, then shoulders, huh?), less than ideal exercise choices (no reason to be training that same group of exercises three times per week).

Why? That’s pointless. Alternating two workouts three times per week is usually A-B-A. But even fixing that wouldn’t improve this routine.

Again, why? If you’re training for size, that’s not much volume. If you’re training for strength, the reps are too high.

Find one of the well-designed, pre-written programs from the Article Archives here and follow it. Almost any one you find will be better than this.
