Fucoxanthin For Fat Loss?

Has anyone experimented with this? It is an extract from brown seaweed that supposedly helps burn white adipose tissue mainly from the girth (mid section). This is the fat that we get with age. Apparentely it increases DHA production in the liver also. The experiments done on mice resulted in a 10% bodyfat reduction.

A couple human trials came out and the evidence seems favorable.

Where are they?

Somebody already makes a product called FucoThin I think. I don’t know if it works or not. It’s all part of the seaweed for fat loss phenomenon.

Fucoxanthin is a carotenoid, and carotenoids have been identified as part of the fat storage/release mechanism, so it might actually work. Maybe.
