I tried front squatting with straps today. It was okay up to 110kg , then it got awkward. Have any of you used straps for front squatting with success?
Yes have front squat well into the 400s with the style.
It was difficult using straps when I pulled the bar up with my arms to keep it from rolling forward. Now I instead concentrate on back tightness and keeping my chest up while trying to reduce the amount of force going through my wrists and it feels a lot better (with and without straps).
