Front squats with bands

Would doing front squats with bands be a good idea? Doing back squats is causing further impingement on my right shoulder so they are out of the question for being part of my training routine. I have a sting ray for doing the fronts and it has helped with easing the shoulder pain.

I do not like squatting with bands without a box. I would not be able to get my butt back far enough on the box if I was front squatting.

Front squats with chains would be a good alternative though.

I have done em a few times, feels good.
