Front Squat Mid Back Tightness?


My form is real good but I seem to get real tight or strain on occasion when I do over 3 or 4 reps. What could be the cause?




Your upper back is used to isometrically to stabilize the load.


Make sure you're staying as upright as possible, if you're leaning forward a little it could stain the back.

I get tightness though, just because you're using that part of your back to stabilize yourself. It could be natural, but be on the safe side and make sure your form is impeccable.
