So yesterday about halfway through my footy match, (Australian Rules Footy, for all you guys) i got a pretty bad knee / upper leg injury. MRI’s showed a fracture in my tibia and patella, and massive bone bruising! Im on crutches for 2 weeks, so obviously i wont be doing any lower body lifting for that time, but once i am allowed to start load bearing again, what would anyone recommend as to a procedure to slowly get back into weight training?
I was toying around with the idea of just doing hip extension exercises, or exercises without knee flexion / extension, EG; Stiff Leg DL’s, Pull Through’s, but im just unsure! Any ideas? or should i just lay off everything until its all good?
