I’ve starting getting a pain in the back of my forearm after I let go of a %90+ bench press variation. Wrist wraps eliminate this, but I’d rather address the issue than mask it. Sometimes it’s worse than others, but it never seems to go away entirely. It may be lessened by relaxing my grip slowly. Has anyone experienced this?
Yeah lots of people have gotten this. I have too when I overload the weight benching from pins. Has something to do with the extensors in the forearm. It neverhappens when I bench normally, so instead of getting injured I just dropped pressing from pins. Not how I like to lift if something hurts, but I could’t figure out how to stop it. Maybe increasing grip strength?
