Forearm Excercise

Lately I’ve experimented with a forearm excercise that seems to work well.Go to do a standing barbell curl,curl the weight to just below midpoint and do wristcurls in normal fashion.I seem to get better results this way possibly because the biceps are already contracted.Then superset this with reverse wrist curls in same fashion.Could be a knockoff of the good old wrist rollers.Anyway,let me know what you think.
