? for JB re: canned salmon & Omega-3's

If I eat one can of salmon per day (Dave’s Albacore label - canned salmon fillets) and each can has ~ 12.5 grams of fat, can I assume that this fat is primarily omega-3’s and if so, would this cover me for my daily dose so I could skip the supps that day

Thanks

Every 3 oz grams of Salmon has about 1.5 grams omega 3 out of the 5 grams of fat it has.

Jimbo: Is that per 3 OUNCES of Salmon? Thanks for the info. I don’t know about you, but I look at my Salmon as “icing on the cake”. In other words, I make sure that I get AT or CLOSE to the 6 gms of DHA/EPA via supplements, with my “real food” being sort of “insurance”.Mufasa

Yeah, I made a typo. Salmon has approx. 1.5 grams of omega 3 per 3 ounces fish.
