Yea thanks but not really looking for “system boosters” more real (solid) foods. Certain fruits or vegetables maybe?

I eat alot of chicken for muscles but would like strong immune system as well.

the same stuff people have been eating for thousands of years, fruits and vegetables particularly those most dense in antioxidants (ORAC value)

spinach
broccoli
carrots
onions
citrus fruit
berries

Ive heard yogurt is supposed to be good for the immune system

A healthy gut is key to a good strong immune system. Look into some Kefir, Fruits and Vegetables (Especially Citrus fruits) also consider supplementing with a good probiotic…

Forget the veggies and eat like a man. Vitamins A and D are your best protection. You get them from liver and butter (A), fish (D) and egg yolks and cod liver oil (A+D).

Coconut oil’s lauric acid is strongly antiviral and antimicrobial.

A nice cocktail of strong cod liver oil and coconut oil every morning should go a long way.

I hope this was supposed to be ironic or something

Also, doesn’t the immune system use glutamine as an energy source?

Kind of off topic but isn’t jawbone growth regulated by how strong your immune system is?

Would boosting your immune system also make your jaw slowly grow larger? My jaw is much squarer since I fixed my diet a year ago. Might be a normal age related effect though.

Actually it’s not. This hype about the supposed benefits of fruits and vegetables is mostly driven by vegetarian and food lobbyists. It’s a shame bb’ers have fallen into this since no bodybuilder ever built any muscle with carrots.

Veggies won’t hurt you, but they’re expensive calories, full of pesticides (both added and the plants own) and, per anthropological evidence, not mandatory for great health. Organ meats for instance are mandatory for great health, but you never hear that.

This is a much better list to base your diet on:
