Foods That You Grind Up

Someone in one of the recent threads talked about grinding up dry oats in a blender to add to protein powder. I tried it and really liked it. I now keep a container full to use here and there. I love oats but rarely take the time to cook them.

Is there anything else you guys grind up in the blender and save to add to shakes later?
I appreciate the suggestions.

Adding oats is a great way to increase carbs.
If you want to add good fats grind unsalted almond nuts.

I imagine this ends up very coarse. Is it obvious when it’s in the shake?

Rice flour, buckwheat flour, coconut flour

No i use a coffee grinder set to fine grind. Its basicly a powder. Just count out the nuts to estimate the grams of fat you want to add.
