5 whole eggs cooked in coconut oil with spinach, curcumin, pepper and Frank’s Red Hot Seasoning. Put on two Ezekiel English muffins with hot banana peppers and homemade chilli sauce. Washed down with a cup of Joe.
Almond flour zucchini bread. With home grown zucchinis. Almond Flour, zucchini, egg, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, ripe banana, vanilla. Tastes amazing, kids and I housed quite a bit of it.
Wife made primal California wraps with chicken, avocado, tomato, cucumbers and home made ranch. Absolutely amazing. We used our home grown tomatoes, cucumbers and eggs. I asked “hey what’s in these?” She responds "well first I had to make the mayo, then the ranch, then the wraps brown the chicken… So instead of trying to remember all that I took pics of the recipe:
My favorite ingredient is in full bloom so I’ll have a couple more faptastic food pics in the next couple of days. On the menu is some beautiful New York strips with pierogies and maybe some green beans, salmon fillet with honey/mushroom glaze and broccoli with white cheese sauce on the side.
Then into the pan with some butter. As they cooked, I added a little salt, pepper, and a dash of rosemary. Thickened with some cornstarch. Don’t actually know how much. I’m a little dash of this/splash of that kind of cooker.
On to the steaks- inch thick New York Strips. Gave them a little braze around the edges to get 'em going in the right direction. My broiler is just a regular home stove and won’t penetrate that type of thickness properly.
They’re easy and I love them. When I do mashed potatoes I have to do gravy, which has a few more steps and takes a good bit longer.
Later on towards fall I’m going to give home made pierogies stuffed with herbed potatoes and shrooms a shot. We used to make them when we were kids for my dads girlfriends church bingo.
The Church Brew Works. I highly recommend it. This was a good flight, all made right there. Good anniversary dinner. 40 ounces of premium beer for $13.50? Done.
