@anon50325502 that is great to know!! I’ve never heard of PRO Yo but love peanut butter Halo Top.
Ya, today was the first time I’ve see it. Tasted just like mint chocolate chip ice cream.
7 hr. Sous vide bone-in NY Strip with broiled Point Reyes Bleu. Creamed spinach gratin. Garlic-lime-asparagus almondine. Red-wine Demi-glace.
It was glorious.
After doing the dishes I’m going to make another keto flourless chocolate cake, aka soufflé.
Love me some Sunday!
I keep replying because it’s just unreal. Incredible. Continuously mind blowing. hah.
That looks delicious. My wife went keto on Friday and I, consequently, have been eating keto too. I’m not sure If I’ll keep it up as I don’t really feel like be too restricted.
Below is last night’s dinner. Sort of a staple for us. Baked brussel sprouts in olive oil and pepper flakes, topped with ground pork, parmesan cheese and a fried egg. Followed by dessert… a keto cookie that is amazing!
Where’d you get that plate, an estate sale?
They were a wedding present… My super sweet bachelor pad ones got dropped off at goodwill when I got married.
I heard that.
What’s your cookie recipe?
My wife made them, but I’m pretty sure they are these ones. I usually get all my keto recipes from Ruled.me
Will be stealing this.
Two favorites.
I don’t use coffee though. I use PB powder.
EDIT: I have been known to scroll through the desserts find the ones with the lowest amount of carbs and eat that for all my daily meals.
Also, this crust is ograsmic. Four servings of this is 2,000 calories and only ~20 grams of carbs.
Thanks Chris, I’ll be making all of these and will post results
Keto chocolate chip cookies, for breakfast! My 5yr old helped me mix the dough.
And just so you guys can see the same setup, but backed out a little bit… #toddlerlife
Doing a keto cake with a peanut butter center…I’ll let you know how it turns out.
I cooked some pork-leg chunks in the sous-vide for 48hrs @135F. I cooked them in the roasted tomatillo verde salsa I made In this post: Food Porn Thread - #206 by FatKidfromFL
After 48hrs I took the sauce (now with pork jus! )and put it in a pan greased with bacon fat, wrapped the pork and some steamed asparagus in low carb/high fiber tortilla and topped with cheese. Baked till bubbly.
I found a new spot for groceries, they had good prosciutto @ $2 for 4 ounces!! And asparagus for $.99/lb. So I made some quick keto snacks:
