Top rack of the dishwasher!

Unfortunately, mine don’t fit in the top rack (too tall). I can just barely squeeze my hand in them to clean the bottom, and those mixer pieces are just annoying to hand wash. All that being said, I’m impartial to the just broken eggs vs. scrambled, so no biggie for me.

No plastic in the dishwasher. Xenoestrogens like a mofo. I’ve switched to using old pasta sauce jars and sauerkraut jars (thoroughly cleaned) as “protein shakers” though, so that bypasses the issue.

I’ll sometimes “scramble” eggs right in the pan, but it usually means adding extra butter/oil to keep it from sticking, so it’s not always worth it. The faux-scramble/omelet-ish thing isn’t really a big deal.

Damnit. New lifestyle change needed… Thanks for the wake up call, Chris. After a few articles about this, I’m now convinced.

Switching to glass…

Curried egg, bacon and cheese spinach wrap.

Been eating alot of spinach lately… It really lightens me up. I mean i’ll eat like 10 oz of spinach in a salad with some olive oil + lemon or olive oil + apple cider vinegar + lemon, some avocado, strawberries, cucumber etc… So it’s a massive bowl of salad, takes a while to eat. But then the next day, I feel really strong and i’m way lighter than I expect. I think the calcium + iron I get from spinach, plus perhaps the “ecdysteroids” (spinach roids lmfao), is pretty potent.

Anyone else feel “different/better” when they eat a TON of spinach?

Or… better q, anyone else feel “different/better” when eating a TON of X? And what is X? :d

I think mildly red meat and a bunch of eggs might also be something that makes me just feel “rugged/strong”, but the eggs especially seem to be too risky for running (for me). The spinach makes me feel strong but also “clean” & “fit”, ie no “heavy” feeling.

Also this wasn’t the “healthiest” because of the orange chicken, but it was damn good. I did “feel it” a bit more the next day.

Yep. Especially when its hot I can eat chicken and mixed pineapple/strawberries every day for lunch, and it feels awesome. Beef or pork are just nauseating in the same conditions.

Salad life, was really good. ~14 oz spinach, olive oil + pink sea salt + black pepper + lemon dressing, avocado, cucumber, 2 x olive sourdough bread, and crispy orange chicken… and some coconut water to wash it down.

Full-af from it.

More salad life. Wanted to try and show how much salad is in that bowl… lol. Not sure if it puts it into perspective, but takes me like 30 minutes to eat it. heh.

My family isn’t attached to turkey for thanksgiving (for which I’m quite thankful!), and they requested something a little more… Down-home. So I made 2 gallons of real-deal gumbo. This is not soup. This is more like pudding with rice on the side. Here’s some pics of the prep and final product:

Some of the ingredients laid out:

Making the roux: (405g olive oil (dee-luxe!) and 270g flour)

Dropping the tomatoes into hot roux:

I royally screwed up a pork roast with sour kraut in a crock pot. It stunk like the fires of hell.

Wife tried some and said it was ok, but with some hesitation.(she was being nice)

So, ham sandwiches for Thanksgiving!

If it was chipped ham I’ll allow it.

It was not. Thick sliced black forest ham with horseradish.

I’ve been on a “food that makes you cry but you can’t stop eating it” kick lately, but I will accept and take responsibility for a foul on that one.
