Hah, awesome! Yeah dude it’s a great combo. Avocados are the truth. Perhaps the most versatile piece of natural food i’ve eaten. I mean I can eat them with anything. I mean I bet they’d even be good with vanilla bean ice cream or something, I just can’t imagine them not pairing with * lmfao.

That Kefir in the last photo, is ridiculous. It’s “Greek God’s Strawberry/Honey Kefir”. If you see it & are into dairy/kefir, it’s definitely worth a try. It’s crazy good.

4 eggs in a not-quite-scrambled/not-quite-omelet thing with about a cup of chopped spinach, everything bagel with 1Tbsp coconut oil. Not pictured: apple eaten while eggs were cooking.

Hit up a new fajita spot… was solid. Fajita’s have become my new “meal the day before a very important run”. So far, 4/4 on how I felt/performed the next day. I always order steak fajitas, with an extra side of grilled chicken. proteinz.

I very rarely go out to eat cause we’re cheap and saving for goals. Took the kids to a hibachi style grill tonight. Awesome. Dude was nice and very personable and hammed it up for the kids. Didn’t get a pick of the veggies or salad, but I hoovered those down too. Entire meal was likely 1750 calories and likely a week’s worth of salt.

Turkey burger on sourdough rye. Need to figure out how to better “photograph” a burger. Next time i’m going to cut it in half, I think that’ll help. lool.

hah! Thanks alot man! Yeah, I figured i’d post it anyway because it’s at least semi decent (and different). I cook pretty “minimalist” meals, so I guess I compensate for that by trying to figure out how to make the photos more interesting than they normally would be. As an example, I just ordered a “black plate”, similar to that white plate I take most of the photos on now. I figure I can mess around with little details like that, giving me more subsequences/permutations to play with.

This is one of my favorite threads, even though sometimes it makes me hungry.

For reference, I took a photo of me holding a yam… 8| I usually use a really big yam (organic, from whole foods). I forget the exact type of yam, I think it’s an “organic jewel yam”:

This turned out incredible. It had a little extra salty flavor, I think because I used my pink sea salt instead of normal sea salt… Not sure though, will try it again and see. The sauteed yam came out so good though I was in heaven. Also some grilled chicken & avocado in there.

This is my breakfast every day! Can’t be bothered to dirty another bowl just to scramble the eggs, so I just poke them with the spatula a few times.

Awesome! You must be in the pacific north west. I’ve never had that variety.

A chef friend of mine showed me a nice trick for cleaning- In a large mixing bowl, mix a few tablespoons of flour into warm water. Swish them around a little and gently rub or brush any little bits of dirt. The flour makes it like a nice flavor neutral soap, then a quick rinse.

It’s a thing. False chantrelles (Orange) don’t kill you usually. Just stomach issues.

The bad one is the death cap. It looks exactly like a safe mushroom that grows in asia. Asian immigrants come here and harvest them not knowing and die.

Pro-tip: scramble the eggs in a protein-shaker-cup.

I like the ingenuity, but those things are a pain to wash!
